Meet Marla
The person who started it
Marla McAlpine (known as Marla Mac) spent 22 years in marketing and communications for service businesses where relationships drove revenue, followed by 10 years running her own business.
As a former Marketing Director for a Bay Street law firm and a mid-size accounting firm, she learned one thing above all else: the clients who feel remembered are the ones who come back.
Seeing health clinics relying on bulk emails and generic flyers to grow their practices, she started asking questions.
What she heard from practitioners confirmed it: they would love to send handwritten notes, but simply could not make it happen.
So they worked twice as hard chasing new patients instead of nurturing the ones they already had.
Handwritten notes are not a nice to have. When done properly, they deepen patient relationships while growing the practice. Open THIS was built to deliver exactly that.
Marla holds an MBA and a B.A. in Communications, and brings every bit of that experience to the clinics she serves. When she is not building campaigns, you will find her on two wheels or advocating for animals.
